1. A&L NET

a. Would it be beneficial to have a monthly MS Teams meeting hosted by DoS open to everyone? I would like to know if members across the force would be interested in a recurring MS Teams meeting hosted by the Directorate of Simulation (DoS) with speakers (when available) from Combat Medic Sustainment Division, Medical Simulation Training Center, MSTC NXT GEN, and 68W SME. If you are interested in this, please provide feedback below, share with your team, and ask them to answer as well. https://www.milsuite.mil/book/thread/281207

b. TCCC TIER 2 - COMBAT LIFESAVER (CLS) COURSE STATUS OF AFFAIRS UPDATE 17JUL2023 AND QUESTIONS. Here is most recent update from MEDCoE for those still looking for answers on conducting Combat Lifesaver (CLS) or Combat Lifesaver Course (CLC) to Army standards. An ALARACT for establishing the rollout plan for Army conduct of the Tier 2 training is in the works, publication is TBD. There is a lot of confusion about what the official material to use for CLS is and where to go to get it. Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and the Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE) have designated the Directorate for Training and Doctrine (DOTD) and the Individual Training Branch (ITB) as the Office of Primary Responsibility for the Army specific CLS Program of Instruction (POI). ATRRS credit requests must be sent through the designated email inbox using the Instructions for CLC Instructors as of 1 Nov 22.docx. https://www.milsuite.mil/book/thread/274015

d. ROLE 1 LIMITED OBJECTIVE EXPERIMENT (LOE) 28 - 30 AUG. Background: Although the roles of care within the AHS have been sufficient over the past two decades, the shift towards Large-Scale Combat Operations (LSCO) against peer/near-peer threats in a Multi-Domain Operations (MDO) environment calls for a comprehensive re-examination of these roles. Specifically, Role 1 care warrants a thorough investigation to uncover any challenges, gaps, and requirements, with a particular focus on the provision of prolonged care due to potential evacuation delays. This analysis should take into account the expected transformation of the Army force by 2030. https://www.milsuite.mil/book/events/110898

e. CLS TRACKER BY SFC DAVID ARTHUR. I use this tracker to track CLS expiration and BLS expiration for my Drill Sergeants here at Ft. Sill. It has conditional formatting. Any other questions you can send me an email on global. https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-1267312

c. TACTICAL MEDICINE CHAPTER 33 LANNY F. LITTLEHOHN, MD, AND BRENDONG. DREW, DO. Medical practice in a limited-resource operational environment frequently differs from “standard” practice in a fully resourced hospital in the United States. Battlefield trauma care is based partly on standard US guidelines, such as the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) course, but also with an eye toward the unique considerations of a forward deployed environment. This chapter will highlight important operational medical skills and guidelines such as those delineated in the Tactical Combat Ca-sualty Care (TCCC) guidelines and the Prehospital Trauma Life Support(PHTLS) manual. https://www.milsuite.mil/book/docs/DOC-1234035
